Why work at Robin Hood?

Robin Hood has been a leader in day camp programs in the Greater Toronto Area for over 60 years. Our family owned and operated camp is proud to boast a rich history of providing a spirited, supportive and fun summer camp program for campers and staff. Our success has been based on a real commitment to providing children with a positive summer experience and hiring, training and supporting great staff to lead the way. We are looking for people who will be positive role models for children, effective team players and willing to learn new skills and improve on the ones they already possess.
Camp is a “real” job which calls for a staff member to consistently display a lot of energy, enthusiasm and stamina. A robin Hood staff member successfully places the needs of children before their own and can demonstrate child-like qualities that will allow them to connect effectively with children while at the same time being mature enough to set realistic and appropriate boundaries.

At Robin Hood, we are committed to delivering the best customer service to our campers and their families. Our motto, “Quest to Be the Best,” represents our customer service mission.

Here are its five principles:
Will Scarlett: “Stand Out Like Scarlett”
Friar Tuck: “Be Fair Like Friar”
Little John: “Listen and Learn Like Little John”
Robin Hood: “Role Model Like Robin”
Maid Marion: “Make Memories Like Marion”

We hope you will consider joining us!

A SPECIAL NOTE

All of us at Robin Hood are committed to working with all of our campers including those with special needs. Our Director, Sari Grossinger is an Occupational Therapist and works with our staff to assist all of us in helping our special campers have a successful experience. Campers with Special Needs make up approximately 10% of our total camper population. Some of our staff are called upon to work directly with these children; all of us will play a role by setting the tone. We see ourselves as a "family" - campers and staff, working and playing together - learning, growing and having fun!
