"To the Point" is the Camp Robin Hood monthly newsletter circulated to all members of the Robin Hood community; registered, recently registered and inquiring families as well as staff and alumni. We hope you benefit from its content and welcome your questions and comments.
We hope your family had a terrific holiday season and wish you and yours a happy and healthy new year.

The office is very busy getting ready for another memorable and spirtied summer. Staff interviews indicate that we will have a high return of staff and a huge thanks to many of you who have been sharing your family's great experience at Robin Hood with family and friends. Our phones have been very busy "talking camp" with many families interested in Robin Hood.

If you have yet to register for camp, we encourage you to do so. Spaces in all sessions are filling up. Please call the office to find out about availability.

Our registration information can be found here.

This year Camp Robin Hood's Owner/Director Sari Grossinger has been working hard as one of the chairs of annual Ontario Camps Association (OCA) Conference. As part of this annual event, the OCA will be hosting renowned parenting expert Dr. Wendy Mogel who will be discussing how parents can meet the challenge of raising self-reliant, optimistic children in a nervous world. This event is open to the public on Sunday, January 31st, 2010 for a cost of $20/person.

Robin Hood Adventures

New for the summer of 2010 is our brand new travel adventure program called Robin Hood Adventures! 'Adventurers' will spend the month of July traveling across both the GTA and all of Ontario. We will be combining a number of day-trips with 4 overnight adventures to places like Niagara Falls, and Ottawa. Our program will be based out of Camp Robin Hood meaning that 'Adventurers' will begin and end most days at camp within the Robin Hood times that you have come to know.RHAdventures

We are holding an information brunch for CAMPERS and PARENTS about this exciting new program in early February and we invite you to contact Ehren at the camp office 416-736-4443 Ext 225 or ehren@camprobinhood.ca for more information.

Did you know that Camp Robin Hood runs a program called the Robin Hood Leadership Centre? For over 10 years we have been providing leadership-enhancing and teambuilding activities to students from across Southern Ontario in the spring and fall months of the year. Based on our successful model, we have now created an adult version of our program which can allow a group of adults the opportunity to spend the day at camp building a cohesive team.

Our program is fully inclusive and is custom tailored to suit your needs. We include breakfast and a full lunch with each of our programs. Please click here to find out more about this program from our web site or feel free to contact Ehren in the office for more information. He can be reached at 416-736-4443 Ext 225 or at ehren@camprobinhood.ca
