Pre-Senior Kindergarten (Pre-Schoolers)
Campers who have completed Nursery or Junior Kindergarten prior to attending camp are known at Robin Hood as the “Munchies & Leppies” and these campers get extra special care; after all, this is a formative time for these campers and individual attention goes a long way towards the development of good values. That is why our ratio of staff to campers in this area is better than 1 to 4 - within each cabin group there are at least 2 counsellors who work together as a team. Our Section Heads for these units have a background in Early Childhood Education. The campers are offered almost every camp program, including those traditionally designed for older campers such as canoe and archery. Each program offered at camp is adjusted according to the attention span and the abilities of these young campers.
