Activities That Build Community
Whether your child is 4 or 14, being a camper at Robin Hood provides the very best of what traditional day camp has to offer; a variety of age-appropriate activities, delivered by well-trained, caring staff that make fun the top priority!
And while skill building is an important component of all the activities we offer, at its core, it is the development and reinforcement of life skills that allow our campers to interact positively with their camp friends and staff and take the experience of camp with them forever.
Camp Robin Hood gave my daughter a safe place to come out of her shell and the confidence to be herself. It is the nurturing, caring, and attentiveness offered to all campers at CRH that kept us coming back.

For years my kids have greatly enjoyed their time at Camp Robin Hood. Each day CRH is filled with exciting sports, activities, new friendships and lots of laughs and fun. From the daily bus ride to the fantastic stories they share with us, I can confidently say that they have been greatly enriched by their time at Camp Robin Hood!

Programs That Grow With Your Child
Each age group at Camp Robin Hood has the opportunity to experience a wide variety of “specialty” activities we schedule throughout each camp session. From archery to arts & crafts, campcraft to canoe, swimming to sports, the sight of seeing a 4 year old paddle for the first time or 8 year olds learning to cook over a campfire makes our camp experience special each and every summer.
As your child returns each year, the fun is enhanced and the opportunities to participate in new things grow:
- Your camper completes SK; they can participate in Extended Days as Junior campers
- Your camper completes SK; they can enrol in Sports Academy
- Your camper completes grade 2; they can stay on an overnight or enrol in Home & Away
- Your camper becomes an Inter Boy or Inter Girl (completed grades 2 & 3) they participate in “Hobbie Hubs” where they get to start to have some choice in weekly activities
- Your camper completes grade 4 or higher and becomes a “Senior” at camp, they participate in our Options program and get to do cool activities like the July “Senior Play” or spend more time at their favourite specialties
- After completing grade 8 & 9, your camper can begin to develop their leadership skills and enrol in our Leader-in-Training and Counsellor-in-Training programs. So many of our staff have used this program as a springboard to become one of our staff
We are all about new experiences and making each year better than the last. Our campers know themselves what they will be able to do next summer!
Camp Robin Hood is hands down the best camp that you will find in the GTA! The staff are outstanding and it is a true camp experience in a country setting. It is a place where kids can be kids and everyone can be themselves. I see the Camp Robin Hood experience as one of the greatest gifts that I can give my children.

I haven’t been able to decide when I had more fun at camp; when I was 7 and spending my first summer at camp or when I was 16 working my first summer at camp. Camp Robin Hood will always have a special place in my heart.

Camp For Life
That’s what parents tell us! For the many families who have had their child start as a young “Munchie” (4 year old) camper and ultimately complete our Counsellor-in-Training program, summers at Camp Robin Hood have truly felt like their second home.
In many cases, our campers become our staff and get the unique opportunity to introduce our amazing, outdoor day camp experience to a new generation of kids. We have been consistently doing this for over 70 years.
Add in the fact that our Owner/Directors Sari & Howie Grossinger have been providing their leadership for over 30 years and you can have proven stability, confidence and knowledge that this will be the right place for your child to thrive. The video below pretty much says it all.
