A Sports Enthusiasts’ Dream
Soccer, Baseball, Basketball and Tennis everyday! Add some flag football, beach volleyball and ball hockey and you have the best sports experience any camper could ask for. Our Sports Academy program uses a dedicated part of the Robin Hood property that includes 3 tennis courts, 3 basketball courts, and 2 baseball diamonds equipped with homerun fences to make any future Jose Bautista feel like they are hitting a ball right out of the park!.
Sports Academy is available to boys and girls who have completed SK through to Grade 7. Daily schedules are designed to separately reflect the needs and attention spans of young and older athletes, offering an appropriate balance of instruction and gameplay. Our credentialed sports instructors deliver skill-based activities so that our weekly “Game Days” are spirited, competitive and reflective of all the hard work our campers put in that week.
With a constant focus on teamwork, sportsmanship and fairplay, our Sports Academy campers end each session with that wonderful feeling of both individual and team accomplishment.
The staff are energetic, friendly and qualified. The setting and facility are unmatched for a “local” day camp.

Swimming at Sports Academy
Sports Academy campers receive two daily swim periods including one instructional and one recreational (free) swim. Our swim staff are all qualified and certified instructors and lifeguards, trained to deliver the Royal Lifesaving Society program to all. We strive to make children independent, capable and confident around the water, leaving parents to appreciate their children’s learned ability to play safely around water.
Due to the active nature of the Sports Academy program, a second daily swim is provided, this time with a focus on recreation (supervised free play). Using this time to cool off and re-energize for the afternoon’s activities has proven to be a much needed and much appreciated part of a child’s day. As with the instructional swim period, our qualified lifeguards provide the necessary supervision so our camper can enjoy their time in the pool in a fun and safe way.

Sports Academy Leadership
The staff are lead by a team of experienced supervisors under the leadership of the Coordinating team. This team is responsible for creating the unique sports-specific programming that sets this program apart from traditional camp. Staff and campers alike benefit from the many years of experience these leaders bring, while they work hard to ensure that your camper is having the time of his/her life!
